Introducing Brittany! The Creator of Britt’s Studio
I've been honing my artistic skills for over a decade, and the last four years have truly been a transformative journey! 🎨✨ After the post-COVID wave, I set my sights on launching art workshops, and here I am, doing just that! I have a passion for drawing, painting, and illustrating, but what truly ignites my enthusiasm is teaching the foundational elements of art. It's inspiring to witness my students tap into their creativity and produce unique, beautiful masterpieces by the end of each workshop. Since April, I've had the pleasure of guiding over 100 amazing students—an achievement that I've never imagined possible! Let’s continue this wonderful journey of creativity together! 🌈💖
Brittany embarked on an artistic journey that began with her attendance at the National Art School in 2015, where she completed four weeks of intensive Life Drawing. This experience opened the door for her entry into the Bachelor of Creative Industries program at the University of Newcastle, from which she graduated in 2020.
Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, Brittany remained undeterred and continued her education by pursuing a Certificate III in Arts Administration at TAFE, achieving her graduation in 2021. Her passion for the arts didn’t stop there; she went on to earn an Undergraduate Certificate in Creative Arts and Health, equipping herself with theoretical knowledge and art programming skills specifically tailored for the aged care and disability communities.
Brittany is genuinely a one-woman show, handling everything from graphics, marketing, content creation, event management, venue booking, and ticket management. Yes, even this website is her masterpiece! Britt’s Studio was born when she saw a bustling market of Paint and Sips, yet recognized a unique opportunity for one-off, affordable art workshops focused on foundational art. Since quitting her corporate job in March, Brittany has skyrocketed in her entrepreneurial journey! When she’s not leading her engaging workshops, she also shines professionally as an Ophthalmic technician.
Looking ahead to 2025 and beyond, Brittany is excited about refining her artistic style of impressionist realism. She enjoys painting in various genres, including acrylic landscapes, seascapes, still life, and, more recently, figures. With numerous event projects lined up for 2025, she is eager to share her upcoming announcements in due course.
